WHERE TO FIND US, HOW TO GET HERE

Our romantic hotel is located in a sheltered – and therefore very quiet – campiello, a few steps from the famous Campo Santo Stefano, where the church of the same name stands and where one of the few pharmacies in Venice authorised to prepare theriaca, a medicine that cured practically all diseases, once stood.

Within a few minutes of walking, you can get to the main points of interest of the city, such as Piazza San Marco with its majestic Doge’s Palace, the Rialto bridge and its evocative market, the Teatro la Fenice, which every year offers an unparalleled programme of concerts and operas and the very particular Scala Contarini, known as del Bovolo.

ALL THE DIRECTIONS YOU MAY NEED TO GET HERE

From the Venice Marco Polo Airport

From the airport to the historical centre of Venice there are several solutions, by land and by water.
The buses of the ATVO and ACTV transport companies arrive at Piazzale Roma in about 15-20 minutes, while the Alilaguna water service, in about an hour of sailing, arrives directly to the heart of Venice.

The stop to get off at in the case you should choose water transport is Sant’Angelo. Upon disembarking, walk straight until you find a tall brick building.

Take the alley on the left side of the building, following it around the corner (street’ s name: Ramo Narisi). Walk until you find a small bridge. When you are on top of the bridge, turn left and go straight on.
At a certain point, a small raised square, or “piazzetta”, will appear on your right: you have arrived, you have reached the romantic campiello where the Locanda Fiorita is located.

From the Antonio Canova Airport in Treviso

From the Treviso Airport, the ATVO bus service operates, which will take you to Piazzale Roma. Once here, we recommend you take line 1 of the vaporetto until the Sant’Angelo stop. Upon disembarking, walk straight until you find a tall brick building.

From the Santa Lucia Station and Piazzale Roma

If you arrive in Venice by train or bus, in both cases we recommend you take line 1 of the vaporetto and get off at the Sant’Angelo stop. Upon disembarking, walk straight until you find a tall brick building.

From Piazzale Roma via the Accademia Bridge

Once you have arrived in Piazzale Roma (or at the Santa Lucia station), you can also take a different path from the one we have illustrated so far and go towards the Accademia Bridge: one of the bridges that cross the Grand Canal, from which you can enjoy a view that will take your breath away.

The walk takes about 20 minutes.

From Piazzale Roma, follow the signs for the Accademia bridge, crossing Campo Santa Margherita and Campo San Barnaba. Once you have arrived at the Accademia Bridge, after having admired the view of the Basilica of the Madonna della Salute, continue to Campo Santo Stefano and go over the large church that you will find on the other side of the “piazza” (square) and turn left on Calle del Pestrin.

After a few steps, on the left a few steps open onto a small raised square: it is the campiello where the Locanda Fiorita is located.

From Piazzale Roma to San Tomà (with short transport by gondola)

If you want to experience the wonderful feeling of being on a gondola on your first day in Venice, you can take advantage of the ferry gondola at the San Tomà station. To get there, from Piazzale Roma go straight, crossing the Ponte Papadopoli and immediately after that the small Ponte dei Tolentini. Once here, turn left and continue until you reach the Scuola Grande di San Rocco and the field where the majestic Basilica dei Frari is located.
Take the street next to the Bottega del Caffé Dersut, then turn left and right into Calle del Traghetto, before the bridge turn right and at the end of the foundation you will see the gondola station from which to take the ferry that will take you beyond the Grand Canal (the cost is €2 per person, the service operates from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
Once here, go straight until you see, at the end of the street, a small jewellery shop on the left with a small staircase on the side. This silent court is where our Locanda Fiorita is located.
